    Grievance regarding booking of Tata Nexon (D) XE New FOLIAGE GREEN dated July 19, 2021 in the name of Mr. Ramjas Verma: This is in reference to the booking made at your Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road, New Delhi showroom by me, Ramjas Verma (Tel. : +91-9711119597) of the address B-332, B Block, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi-110076 towards Tata Nexon (Diesel) XE New FOLIAGE GREEN. 1) I made a booking on July 19, 2021 at the Mathura Road, New Delhi showroom of Sab Motors Pvt. Ltd. with regard to Tata Nexon (D) XE FOLIAGE GREEN by paying an advance amount of INR 11,000 /-. One Mr. Ajay Kumar (Tel.: 7053526402) was designated as the customer advisor in respect of my booking. During the course of the booking, Mr. Ajay Kumar assured me of an estimate delivery time of less than a month for the booked vehicle even though the estimated timeframe as per the booking was 6 weeks. 2) Subsequent to that, I undertook regular follow ups with the dealership, however despite being considerably patient throughout, I never received any confirmation from the aforementioned dealership about the availability of the booked variant let alone the delivery of the vehicle. 3) As I anticipated an early delivery time for the booked vehicle and was not receiving any substantive response from the concerned dealership, I also enquired about the availability of this variant at other third-party dealerships who committed to delivering the same variant to me within a much shorter waiting period as compared to the dealership at which I booked my vehicle. When I informed about canceling my booking at the Sab Motors dealership to book the variant at some other dealership, its customer advisor Mr. Ajay Kumar literally ‘begged’ me to not cancel my booking and promised me of the delivery of the booked vehicle latest by September 10, 2021 which prompted me to not book the variant at those other dealerships and rather wait for the delivery of the vehicle at the Sab Motors dealership only. 4) However, when I did not receive the delivery of my booked vehicle even by September 10, 2021 as promised by the aforesaid dealership, I contacted them and was appalled to be told by their customer experience manager (Mr. Sujoy) that the production of Tata Nexon ( Diesel) XE variant has been discontinued by Tata Motors and that I could no longer procure this variant. 5) I am sure that the notification regarding discontinuation of the Nexon (D) XE variant may have been communicated to the dealership much earlier but it is obnoxious on their part to accept my booking towards the same variant even after knowing the possible termination of this particular variant. Thus, it is preposterous to even think about the reasons for which I waited for over two months only to be apprised later that this particular variant has been discontinued from Tata Motor’s range of cars in India. 6) It is apparent that this dealership wasted more than 2 months of mine by making promises which could never have been fulfilled. Such mismanagement and unprofessionalism on their part has caused unnecessary mental pain and harassment to me. 7) Therefore, justifiably, I would urge you to kindly consider this genuine complaint of mine and escalate this matter to the concerned officials, failing which I would be compelled to escalate the subject matter to appropriate Consumer forums including undertaking any other suitable action if necessary.
